Klaas. 8+years on Mars. 15+ years in Data & AI. 25+ years in everything digital. 40+ years nerd by heart. 50+ years on Earth.

And of course the Birds.

Is it too far off? Absolutely.

Anyone else doing it? Not really.

Anyone out there paying for it? Have to find out.

But the time is right? Think so.

So why should we do it? We have to.

There is sweet spot. When AI is commodity. We all have access to the same tools. And are efficient as hell. And manage to survive the change that comes with this huge transformation. How do we differentiate?

In 2025 I stumbled upon the term “imagination economy”. By accident. Doing deep research on future trends and impacts. I got hooked. And explored a new universe. Away from Mars, but still connected. Deepdiving into Agentic AI. Building powerful services and flows myself. Experimenting with futures thinking and building. Reading a book shelf. Stumbling upon brilliant philosophers such as Hartmut Rosa, papers from UN global pulse, BCG and many others…

What if…?

There is a sweet spot. Somewhere inbetween. Somewhere in space. Somewhere in our futures. Somewhere over the rainbow. (Sorry, but need to include the link to Wizard of Oz, as any nerd).

Imagination. The capacity to imagine in us. A unique resource. Definitely not AI. But accelerated by it to the max!
